Common reference levels

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) has become a key reference document and valuable tool for European language teaching and learning. It promotes a communicative approach to language teaching and learning following action-oriented methods. These consider language users and language learners as social actors who have tasks to accomplish in a given set of circumstances and in a specific environment. The CEFR comprises six main levels from breakthrough to Mastery of language and culture. It sets a more realistic and precise progress than the distinction between beginner, intermediate and advanced.

CEFR keywords used in our training courses:
flexibility, transparency of qualifications, plurilingualism, lifelong learning.
